What Elaris keeps about you and your work, and where it goes.

Working draft · October 5, 2026

What we keep

  • Account: your email and password. Sign in is handled by Supabase Auth.
  • Profile: name, handle, bio, avatar, cover, and tags.
  • Work: artworks, stills, descriptions, and the recorded process.
  • Activity: likes, comments, follows, collections, and notifications.
  • Commissions: offerings, requests, and order threads.
  • Billing: your plan and storage use. Polar holds your payment details, not Elaris.

Where your files live

Uploads are stored privately in Cloudflare R2. When you publish an artwork, its media may be cached at the edge so it loads quickly.

The desktop and mobile recorders keep the full source recording on the device that made it. They upload optimized, signed segments.

Who can see it

Unpublished artwork is visible only to you.

Published artwork and your profile are visible to visitors. A commission thread is visible to its artist and client.

Who handles it for us

  • Supabase: accounts and the database.
  • Cloudflare: file storage and delivery.
  • Polar: payments, as merchant of record.

Deleting your account

Deleting your account removes your profile, your artworks, and your stored files. Elaris asks you to close open commissions and settle billing first.
